Safety

We take the safety of everyone involved in Seattle Restaurant Week seriously.

We encourage everyone to stay updated and informed about local coronavirus cases and dining establishment recommendations by visiting the official King County’s COVID page.

Participating venues will offer takeout, ready-to-heat, delivery, meal boxes, in addition to indoor and outdoor dining in order to create access to their menus through a variety of dining options.

As of March 12, 2022, King County lifted both its vaccination verification requirement and masked requirements for restaurants and bars. However, they are still supporting many steps to prevent the spread of COVID 19, including:

  • Continue to improve ventilation
  • Support vaccination for employees
  • Encourage employees to stay home when sick
  • Enforce indoor mask policies

King County affirms each restaurant’s right to retain their vaccination, rapid test, and/or masked mandates. Please respect each establishment’s choice to care for their team members and community as they see fit.

Public Health – Seattle & King County recommends that everyone wear masks in indoor public settings, including restaurants, while not eating or drinking.

The best way to keep our community safe is to get a vaccine, which is free with no appointment needed, and available to everyone aged 12 and older. Find and schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments at the Vaccine Locator.

Need help? Call the hotline at 1-833-VAX-HELP (833-829-4357), then press #. Language assistance is available. You can also text your zip code to 438-829 (GET VAX) or 822-862 (VACUNA) for vaccine locations near you.

Early testing is important to help prevent COVID-19 from spreading to friends, family, and the community. If you have a sign/symptom of COVID-19 or were exposed to someone with COVID-19, find out where you can get tested in King County here.

To support our restaurant community, we are providing flexibility for each restaurant to make their own risk assessment, to decide what is best for them, and to help them weather this storm. We know that together we can keep each other healthy!
