FAQs — Frequently Asked Questions
Who's eligible?
- All eating establishments in the greater Seattle area are eligible to participate, including restaurants, bars, cafes, food trucks, caterers, and pop-ups.
What's in it for me?
- Promotion through a regional multi-media campaign, including digital content, print, radio, transit ads, and pole posters. Media partners include Seattle Met, The Stranger, Intentionalist, Do206, KEXP, and more.
- 3.6 million website and paid media impressions.
- Increased visits, higher check averages, and introduction to new customers.
- A dedicated profile page on the Seattle Restaurant Week site, which receives 130,000+ unique visitors over one month.
- A promotional toolkit for your channels.
What's involved?
- Participating establishments provide at least one unique menu at a fixed price over the course of the promotion. You may choose from $20, $35, $50, or $65 for any menu.
- Your prix fixe menu can include whatever format works for you, whether that is an in-house three-course meal, a selection of small plates, or a cocktails-and-bites special. Prices do not require a discount and can be per person or inclusive of multiple servings.
- You can offer the dining option of your choice, including in-house and outdoor dining, takeout, delivery, and ready-to-heat meals.
- We encourage offering a SRW menu to spotlight your unique culinary craft, perhaps featuring a fan favorite no longer offered or including a new dish. Based on feedback from previous participants, this is a great way to excite diners and make the most of the promotion.
- Opportunity to raise funds for restaurants providing free meals to community members in need, either through support for your own community kitchen or as a donation to Good Food Kitchens.
What's the cost to participate?
- Participation fee is $250*
- A limited number of media packages are available for purchase to increase your visibility during the promotion. Media packages offering additional visibility will be available for purchase at registration. Placements include a feature in an article in Seattle Met, video production with amplification through Reels by Do206, SRW Instagram posts, SRW newsletter features, and more. Learn more here about available packages and benefits. Packages sell out early, so reserve yours as soon as possible. Get Details Here
- You may also provide complimentary gift cards, in-house packaged foods, and merchandise for use in promotional contests for additional visibility.
*A limited number of scholarships are available with support from sponsors to waive the participation fee for businesses for whom it poses a barrier. If a fee waiver would make it possible for your business to participate, please apply for one here: Fee Waiver Application
