Give A Meal Operating Agreement

THIS AGREEMENT is made by and between the PARTICIPANT (listed below under participant name) and Seattle Good Business Network (SGBN) to participate in the Fall 2024 Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) Give a Meal promotion.

As part of the promotion, PARTICIPANT will raise funds during the Seattle Restaurant Week campaign (October 27-November 9) for the preparation and donation of community meals by the participating restaurant or as a donation to Good Food Kitchens (GFK) at the end of the promotion.

Good Food Kitchens is a program of Seattle Good Business Network that provides funding and support to restaurant and catering partners to prepare and donate meals to community members in need, while sourcing from regional farmers and producers where possible.

Fundraising:

Participating restaurants can raise funds for Good Food Kitchens (or their own community kitchen) in two ways:
- PARTICIPANT will add a donation option on their online ordering menu.
- PARTICIPANT will donate proceeds from an item(s) on their Seattle Restaurant Week menu(s). Suggested donation would be $1-$5 per every Seattle Restaurant Week menu ordered.

Press & Marketing:

- The SRW Give a Meal campaign will be explained on the SRW website (srweek.org) under the Give a Meal tab (srweek.org/give).
- Participating restaurants will be identified as a Give a Meal participant on their profile page, and they will be searchable via the Dining Values dropdown menu on the restaurant list.
- We will begin Give a Meal promotional features starting three weeks ahead of the Seattle Restaurant Week start date.
- SGBN will include news and features about the program in the SGBN and SRW newsletters, social platforms, and paid media.
- As resources allow, please promote the SRW Give a Meal program across your newsletter and social platforms using the tags and talking points provided by SBGN.
- On occasion, SGBN may request photos or testimonials to include as part of promotional purposes and fundraising efforts.
- The abbreviation SRW is to be used for internal purposes only. When promoting the campaign through any public-facing platform, please use the whole name “Seattle Restaurant Week”.

Reporting and donation payments:

- At the end of the promotion, participating restaurants who collected funds for donation will report how much they raised via this form.
- If the participating restaurant is raising funds for GFK, they will send payment to Seattle Good Business Network by 11/17/24.
- Please make checks payable to Seattle Good Business Network, A2, 4786 1st Ave S. #102, Seattle, WA 98134.
- Payments can also be made by credit card with a 3% processing fee.
