When there's room at the table for everyone, it's more than just a meal.
During Seattle Restaurant Week, diners have the opportunity to support restaurants preparing free meals for communities facing food insecurity, either through support of Good Food Kitchens or other community kitchens. Participating businesses donate proceeds from an item on their menu, giving you the chance to give a meal when you dine out.
To find businesses participating in Give a Meal, read the guide below, head to the Directory and search for ‘Give A Meal’ from the ‘Values’ drop-down menu, and keep your eye out for the Give a Meal badge on restaurant profiles. We hope you’ll consider supporting this effort to make delicious, high-quality food available to those who need it!

Give a Meal 2026 digital passport

When you check in at participating locations using the Seattle Restaurant Week x Give a Meal Passport, you will be entered to win two tickets to the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Seattle (held November 1, 2026)*. The more check ins you acquire during the activation period (10/18-10/28), the more chances you have to win.
Prize Description
The James Beard Foundation® (JBF), the organization behind the prestigious James Beard Awards®, announces that its Taste America culinary series returns to Seattle with a walk-around tasting on November 1 at 5:30 pm at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. Presented by American Express and Resy, Taste America celebrates the chefs and local independent restaurants at the heart of our communities and culture – featuring one-of-a-kind evenings of exceptional food and drink in 20 U.S. cities from coast to coast.

If you didn’t save your passport to your phone at the time of checking out, you can access your pass from your confirmation email or from the text message that was sent to your phone when you completed your user registration.
- Use your search bar in your inbox and type “Order Confirmation from Good Business Network of Washington” .
- Click on email and view your pass now.

- In your message app use the search bar and type “Your pass from Good Business Network is ready!”.
- Click on the link and save the pass to your phone.
- Click on the question mark and follow instructions for ‘How to Add Pass to your phone’ if you are struggling with saving it to your phone.
Once you have located your confirmation email, click on the link to download your pass. Follow the instructions to “Save Pass to your Homescreen.”
Our passes look and feel like an app, but are actually mobile-optimized websites that are immediately delivered to your phone after signing up or purchasing. Your pass will also update in real time if an update is made, eliminating the need to update your pass.
The SRW x Give A Meal digital passport will be active from October 18-28, 2026. Clicking on the calendar icon in the mobile pass will also let you know when you can start using the pass, or if it’s already activated. You can also see the date your pass expires.
Allowing location services allows you to use map view in real time using your phone’s GPS as well as access directions if needed. Location services are required to utilize the GPS check-in capability for this passport. Click the ? (question mark) on the home screen of your pass to learn how to add location services.
This digital passport uses geo-location services (GPS) to check in.
1. Once you’ve arrived onsite, select the location profile either from the map view or the profile list.
2. You will then select the “CHECK-IN” button under the “Things To Do” text on the profile page.
3. On the next screen, click on the “CHECK-IN” button near the bottom (below “frequency”).
4. The next screen will ask you to Validate Your Location – hit Continue must allow location services on your phone and be within the GPS range onsite in order to check in.
When your check-in is successful, you will see a gray checkmark with a timestamp indicating success.
For the duration of this passport, you will have the opportunity to check in ONCE per location, during the days/times specified on the event profile.
If you have successfully checked in to at least one location, you are automatically eligible for the prize drawing! Prize description is listed above – there will be no late entries accepted.
The prize will be verified/confirmed with the winner before distribution. The team at Good Business Network of Washington/Seattle Restaurant Week will reach out VIA EMAIL to confirm on Thursday, October 29th.
